This topic is something I’ve been seeing all over the internet, and most of the time the answer to this question is disoriented. Yes, you can use an inflatable hot tub indoors, in fact, there are plenty of models in the market which are especially suited for that.
However, there are some precautions that you’ll want to consider because you don’t want to cause trouble and issues with it indoors. First and foremost, for people that live in apartments, you’ll have to set your inflatable hot tub on the bottom floor due to the fact that the load of the water and all the people that intend to hop in will be too much, thus you’ll cause trouble and damage the place.
Some of the best inflatable hot tubs out there are really reliable and safe to put inside, but of course, you’ll have to compile a proper plan and take the needed precautions before doing so.
Let’s take an example, one of my favorite inflatable hot tubs out there is the Miami Inflatable hot tub, I’ve seen it indoors and it’s really safe to keep due to the fact that it has a drain valve that can be attached to a garden hose. Therefore, whenever you’ll need to drain the inflatable hot tub, you can just stretch the hose outside.
Now, since you’re reading this article, I take it you have already planned where you’re going to put the inflatable hot tub, and the spot will be perfect if you’ve considered how are you going to drain and get the water out of it. I know, it’s pretty easy to think of a way to put water into it, but it’s not as easy to think of a way how you’re going to run the water out of it, and hopefully, you’ve done your research well because you’ll really want to get a model that has a hose and a release port so you can direct the water to wherever you like.
What’s even better, place the inflatable hot tub on a floor that won’t be an issue if it gets wet, such as sealed tile, because occasional overflow can occur if more than two people get in.
Okay, enough precautions taken, there are so many benefits that come along with inflatable hot tubs, such as the fact that you’ll be able to use the inflatable hot tub in cold weather, so if you bring such an essential inside, you’ll enjoy the relaxation and the satisfaction during the winter months.
In terms of maintenance, an inflatable hot tub doesn’t get as dirty as you’d think, but that’s doesn’t necessarily mean that you won’t need to clean it. There’s yet another thing you’ll need to do, make sure you check the chemical levels and add chemicals as needed so the water stays clean because over time it can start growing bacteria resulting in skin irritations.
